Harvey Milk was an outspoken human rights activist and one of the first openly gay U.S. politicians elected to public office; even after his assassination in 1978, he continues to inspire disenfranchised people around the world.

The fact that the defense argued that a window was a common way to enter a building is just laughable

Very grateful to attend a school where I get to learn about the singular Harvey Milk. Fort Mill could NEVER.

Really liked this. It's also a huge bummer to see this in 2026 and we are going through the same bullshit.

It is so so sad to look at where we are today and see we haven’t gotten the 50 years worth of progress we could’ve if there were more Harvey Milks out there. The fact that he got so far and changed so much in the 70’ feels like a miracle and so out of reach even for today’s standards.
5 years prison time for TWO obviously premeditated murders is disgusting.
