Actually looking into Mary Shelleys life, this movie did not portray her as the truth. She was not gentle, more bold and rebellious. She had her beliefs and she stuck with them no matter who or what got in the way. So this movie portraying her in this light is wrong.
Although it still opened my mind to the perspectives of writers, especially when writing was a major way to express true emotion. Not saying that writing is a dying form of expression, it isn’t. We still write books, songs and movies. But originality and overall creativity, in my opinion, has decreased over time. That is from many differing factors.
Frankenstein is more than just fiction, it’s a way to express one’s suffering, if it be through unique experiences or something a group has experienced but it was shamed upon to express that, and that to me it is just so interesting.
