While the film never achieved its full potential due to the evil studio heads wanting rewrites and reshoots. I still found this film to be really fun and still really tragic. I can see why Wes craven looks down at this film though. Not being the film he sought out to make. But I am a sucker for bad but good 80s films and this is definitely one of them. BB is absolutely one of the cutest robots I've ever seen. And the soundtrack and (some) effects are great. While the concept of the film is completely fun ridiculous, I think it still has a sense of emotion as Samantha's story really made me feel for the character. I just wish we could've gotten Wes cravens cut 💔 but for what it is. It's a decent fun bad 80s sci-fi film.
