This was so much better than I was expecting. Free Fire sounds boring in concept, but it works surprisingly well despite mostly taking place in one location. I really liked that the script was full of comedic moments because it offloaded some of the tiresomeness of the scenes filled with shooting. The cast did fantastically overall, but Sharlto Copley and Sam Riley's performances stood out to me as being the best in the film. I learned so many good insults, and for that alone I recommend giving this a go.

This is movie is technically phenomenal and had me intrigued for the whole ninety minutes. The weaving together of the many characters, many wounds, many weapons, and many brutal instances of violence was done so well, and everything down to the last minute detail felt intentional.
