Some of the editing and direction in the death scene at the beginning of the movie were extremely awkward, and this sentiment carried over to other heavier scenes within this movie, apart from some arguments. While my criticism of the direction took away some of this movie's power, I felt the dialogue, plot, and acting created a fun experience. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kristen Scott Thomas, Anne-Marie Duff, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster were all great, and felt like they were plucked from reality. The flow at which this movie follows is crystal clear, and it ties itself together well. This movie looks beautiful, too, and the sound design was solid as well. I have my grievances, but it was still enjoyable.
