A baby alligator is flushed down a toilet and survives by eating discarded lab animals that have been injected with growth hormones. The now gigantic animal escapes the city sewers and goes on a rampage, pursued by a cop and a big-game hunter.

‘Alligator’ is a great creature-feature from the 80s that shines with some fantastic practical effects, good carnage, a great amount of scenes featuring the titular create that are all fun, some strange humor and a message that’s lowkey anti-cop. It shows the police force as incredibly incompetent and corrupt and even has them knock at a house with the number 1312.
