It’s a fun move to watch to waste two hours away, there’s not a lot of substance but it is fun. I’ll come of out the gate saying I hate the villain though, he sucks, is not intimidating or interesting. He’s just a boring corporate loser villain that finds a super being, it’s cliche, boring and the actor who played him was lowkey not it. Tom hardy is great as venoms host, he really feels like he encapsulates the character. The action and jokes are also solid though I wouldn’t say they are anything all to special. It’s just can of a tad better than an average hero flick, I’d rewatch though, it’s kind of a guilty pleasure movie for me.
