There's a sweet idea here, taking people who would never interact with each other, and putting them in a situation where they form a connection, but that stark contrast is exactly what brings the best out of both of them. An American astronaut and a lonely for French old woman, a kid from the block and a famous actress, a stingy slob and a selfless nurse. Ther performances are really great, taking a really grounded approach, making every scene feel like it could be happening in the next house over. Sadly, at times it's budget shines through, I wouldn't usually criticise this but at times it was pretty distracting, especially with some of the sound quality towards the beginning.
Also, the subtitles went out of sync in like the last half an hour and I could've cried.
