I saw a tweet yesterday that said “It's so funny to imagine David Cronenberg walking around Toronto in the 60s with all that sicko stuff in his head” and that’s already become a personal all timer for me.
This is the freakiest lecture I’ve ever seen.
If only the “Canadian Academy for Erotic Inquiry” was a real thing.
I know this was filmed at UofT but this level of brutalist architecture is seen in few other places than the glorious UWaterloo.

Incredibly, I haven’t watched this in close to two decades but it became instantly familiar when I started it.
The campus gets most of the credit though there is some decent direction and the voiceover suggests some interesting ideas. It does carry on too long and settles on listless characters for stretches. Interesting.
