I dont know why, but this movie made me feel such sadness and tenderness at the same time.
I just realised how much the government and political state of your country affects your life, fears, beliefs. After the election in Hungary, this hits even harder, especially because my mother is a real believer of the outgoing government. I never understood her, but realized; she grew up in this era. In socialism, in the exact same political state that caused our family - and many others - so much damage after the wars.
I can't blame her for her outdated political opinions, and I just hope when I become older, I can accept the world changing just as much as I'm trying now, even though it is a scary place to live in.
However, this was NOT a comedy for me at all.
