"Monks are very trendy"

Loved it, the scene with Ikuo’s voice breaking had me laughing more than it should have

Wasn’t prepared for a fart gag to turn into a Buddhist reflection.

It’s a really fun, wacky religious comedy, and I’m honestly relieved that the US never attempted to remake it, knowing how rampant Asian stereotypes were back in the eighties
