okay they got me in the final 30 minutes!
it took me a while to watch this because i love the 80s entries of this franchise (the second being my favourite) and i was afraid not liking this one because one of the best things about the hellraiser movies was that they're so gritty and had that beautiful 80s body horror fun to it.
and at the beginning i didn't enjoy this one much, and i was so disappointed because i hate being one of those "all remakes/new entries are bad" people (i'm NOT i promise 😭) but then finally in the last 30 minutes i was invested and had fun!!
only thing i didn't really like was that the plot was a bit out there ? and not so much about human carnal desires anymore haha ? and i wasn't the biggest fan of the new cenobites designs.
anyway! glad i gave it a shot 🙂↕️
