Not special enough in any way to be memorable, let alone carry a sequel. The action is fine, but not enough to really be outstanding. When the sets are practical, it's noticeable and appreciated, but this doesn't reach the level of "awe-inspiring" for visuals - maybe another director or studio could have gotten there, but a lot of it looks bland. Some of the sequences are good, but I never really felt blown away. Lara is also so serious all the time that I feel like she's not that interesting of a character. All in all, not a terrible watch, but I wanted more!
