I will love and defend this because it feels so bespoke and handmade in a way that a lot of films just aren't. The hokey war plot and the stacked voice cast with these ornate puppets and wonky animated mouths on top of them are great at just landing a specific tone that feels very Dinotopia on late night SciFi before the rebrand to SyFy.
