Så enkelt, men så utrolig interessant. På 20 minutter viser denne filmen styrken ved historiefortelling. Historien til Betty, og måten hun forteller den på, er rørende og interessant på samme tid. Det er et eksempel og et portrett. Veldig spesiell film ❤️

***I still haven't solved how I feel about that. The... The uncomfortableness of being praised for a prettiness I never had... But, kind of an excitement of being very special suddenly. And... And it's gone. And I don't know what else to say about it, really. It just seems very strange.

To refer back to. Excellent as a study in writing people.

Fantastic filmmaking. The way Better is asked to tell a story of a lost dress - a story where she feels truly beautiful for once - and how fleeting that moment felt is first humorous and then somber and reflective upon a retelling. Betty can't help but perform. The first telling is an anecdote delivered in a way that she had clearly given to others several times before. However, that retelling, she can't give it the same way she had just done. Other emotions come to the forefront.
