“I no longer understand my self, is it original me, turned to stone? Is it the me replicated on the chip? It doesn’t matter whether it’s a dream or a memory. It doesn’t matter what the truth is. I can’t say nor can anyone. But for some strange reason, i feel so alive. Even though i have no body. I taste the air, bathe in the sun’s radiance, and feel the chill of the night.”

A curious omnibus that shows Tokyo in a different way then usually presented in films. I think Bicycle was particularly heartwarming.
Two girls both in difficult situations opening up to eachother without judgement after only meeting that day. They dont know where the other will end up but they go their seperate ways.

The first story with its busy streets, neon lights, and a grainy texture reminded me of visiting chinatown with my parents as a kid. The third story sort of felt out of place for a bit but by the end i thought it neatly showcased our contrasting lives in a big city. All in all, this was oddly nostalgic and i quite enjoyed it.
