“show me a happy homosexual
and i'll show you a gay corpse.”
second ever watch of this and it remains to be such a good film. the dialogue and story is equally as funny as it is depressingly realistic and i adore them for this. i desperately need a physical copy of this because it’s definitely a movie i’d rewatch at least once a year or so.
also i was curious about how much The Cowboy would’ve been paid nowadays. apparently $20 USD in 1970 would be $167-ish USD in 2025. i’d say he deserved more, especially after the disaster of the phone game, but to each their own. love the Midnight Cowboy reference (didn’t pick up on it on my first watch)
