i like the very grim ending of this but i cant not talk about how bad the set of the cave was in this one compared to the original plus the creatures looked just noticeably worst 
the new characters are just there to be slaughtered BUT i think it does have its moments of depravity that i enjoyed, it got pretty nasty at some points
but this didn’t need to be made tbh
