A tense Australian, psycho-sexual revenge flick. Themes such as consent, marital dynamics and the arch-type of the lone housewife are explored. What I wish, this film did was push the humiliation of the husband even further; to an uncomfortable extreme. On a low budget, this is definately effective and somewhat predictable.
For 2003, this must have been miles ahead. Alas, if viewed today, the response would certainly still be lukewarm.
The lead actors are nonetheless, effective.
