Stuck at a crossroads in her personal life, it falls on high school English teacher Miss Stevens to chaperone three of her students — Billy, Margot and Sam — on a weekend trip to a drama competition.
this was a nice story but it felt weirdly surface level considering some of the themes explored, and i disliked the whole student in love with their teacher arc that was explored for all of 2 mins but was the driving force for a large amount of the film???
still haven't seen a BAD performance from Chalamet and Lily Rabe is great in most things - overall this films inoffensive but nothing stand out

He was part of the dream blunt rotation for indie filmmakers in 2016. Basically the prequel for ladybird and cmbyn due to the many parallel scenes. Amazing acting especially after and during his monologue but also Rachel was so spectacular with her lack and regain of self control.
