This movie has absolutely no right being this fucking sad... like come on. Why were kids' movies from the mid 2000s so fucking sad and traumatising? Like whatever they put in the water back then at all the directors' houses... can we please get it back, because we need more traumatised generations of kids.

I just realised that this movie was made by the same guy (Robert Vince) who made Air Bud and Russel Madness, and I guess when I was 7-8, he was my favorite director, because those were my favorite movies, like I really loved them.

This movie makes me so fucking nostalgic, because every once in a while or something, I have a time where I am just thinking of the scenes at the park. And honestly i don't think I have watched this in like 10 years or something, so it really is something that stuck with me for a long ass time. And while I remember all those happy things, my mind had completely blocked out all the extremely sad stuff... because this movie is fucking traumatising, as a kid. But still extremely underrated, like how the fuck has only 20k people watched this according to Letterboxd.

And also like sometimes, I find it funny to look back at these movies that I loved as a little kid, and just seeing these big actors in the roles... like Abigail Breslin, who, while you might not know her name, you for sure know her face. Like she played the mother fucking FINAL GIRL, in the movie FINAL GIRL (The coolest final girl ever), Zombieland, Little Miss Sunshine, and much more.

And the movie's score also doesn't have any right being John Williams level quality... like it is a fucking kids movie, so why is the score alone, able to make me get all fucking emotional. Like, Brahm Wenger is underrated as fuck.
