This movie has a fairly cool premise, i think the execution however, is terrible. The main story doesn't really start till almost halfway through the movie, and aside from the first scene, it's pretty much all exposition (till the halfway point). The first scene is something i did wanna talk about, i thought it was pretty cool, and it was probably the best part of the movie. However, most of the action throughout this film is just done really bad, the editing is insanely fast, and the camera is very up close and claustrophobic. Mark Wahlberg's character was basically just himself, but slightly more narcissistic, sociopathic and angry. Overall though, this was a disappointing movie, yes the twist was kinda cool but it wasn't really all that surprising, seeing since every 5 minutes they would show a scene of "james" being interrogated after all the events happened, basically spoiling that the whole mission would go to shit...
All that being said, this WAS a fun-bad movie so it gets credit there, also i love Iko Uwais, and i need to see more movies he's in.
