Note*- I keep seeing comments and posts about blackface in this movie? I just watched it all the way through and even went back in the movie where this was supposed to have happened and nothing of the sort was there. The version that I watched was on Amazon prime and its runtime is 3 minutes shorter than what is listed on Letterboxd, so I guess I watched an edited version 🤷‍♂️

Note 2- I’m genuinely looking everywhere for where this may be with no avail

Not his best, but I think it's more than fair to do a slightly more chill project following The General.
The ending is very sweet and unusually full-circle-like storytelling from Keaton.

Not sure if it’s the use of Horne over Kline but this doesn’t feel like a Buster film. His performance is great but it feels like he’s been thrown into a film that doesn’t know how to use him. The usual Keaton flare is there, the chaos, the stunts, the bones of something sharp, but it’s just all over the place. He’s moving at a whole nother level to the film around him. Some solid bits but mostly a whole lot of meh.
