It’s fun and definitely entertaining but does fall a bit short in the character development stage for sure. It has great elements to it, a little bit of horror, a lot of action and a new and cool expansion on an already cool franchise. Having the predators take people to another planet to hunt them was a dope idea. The planet itself isn’t anything special but the idea was cool. The characters are really where the movie struggles a bit, they are pretty stereotypical and a bit flat. They have no real personality besides what a normal human would imagine if you said something like, cartel member, yakuza, or black ops guy. The predators were cool, always love a predator on predator fight. The alien dogs and other aliens where pretty cool as well. Two questions I always ask myself are why do they send the humans down in parachutes but everything else down in crates and where the hell did that big ass drill machine come from. It’s these little things that keep me up at night, anyways will rewatch.
