A pair of divorced actors are brought together to participate in a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew. Of course, the couple seem to act a great deal like the characters they play, and they must work together when mistaken identities get them mixed up with the mafia.

I kept thinking it was weird how often characters were throwing objects directly to camera but then I saw that this was made for 3D!

‘ i’m yours till i die ‘ -kiss me kate
i have never been more bored… due to the time period, i can get past the sexism; times were different, however, the film is unbelievably long for such a predictable ending. i wasn’t captivated by anything beyond millers’ astonishing tap number… and she isn’t even the main character.
the costumes were phenomenal and i adored the original score, everything just felt poorly executed. i don’t see why this was necessary if the musical was already good, i thoroughly enjoyed that.
waste of time, unfortunately.

Too anti-women for me to fully appreciate the great songs and even greater production
