"nothing happens without desire."—
typical hamaguchi, relying so much on the conversation and the emotional aspect between all characters, which i love so much about him and his work. the acting was kinda weak but kaho and takeshi really turn the ship around, tomoya's douche persona is good, but not good enough for me to hate him.
the classroom scene where kaho talked about violence, and the honest game scene is my favorite scenes and is exactly how i expect hamaguchi's movie to be.
but then again, another hamaguchi's work where he got people (me) to think thoroughly about marriage, that shit is terrifying.
