Peter Lorre is absolutely incredible unsurprisingly and makes every movie he’s in good. The story is compelling and I really like the commentary on the “American Dream” and etc.
The run time makes sense considering it’s a Columbia B picture but I just wish it was longer. Honestly I think it could’ve been a lot sadder/darker but the run time is too limited for the story. I think if the beginning part before the accident was a little longer that could of helped as well. The movie is still great regardless I’m just fantasizing
