One thing i wanna say is that i loved the absolute confidence that she like the amount of guts it took her to walk down those streets knowing that in that decade it was horrible for so many queer folks and minorities and her being both black and a trans woman i just admire that so much such a beautiful soul who i hope got to live out her life so freely and got to be heels and express who she was! ❤️

she really was just serving the whole time and considering the time this was released it is incredibly tasteful, pretty, and real in portraying trans people, particularly trans people of colour compared to media then and today
