if i had a nickel for everytime srk played a maniac who’s obsessed with this one girl, this one girl only, repeats her name over and over, attacks her husband, gets physically violent with said girl, manipulates her family, follows her around everywhere, almost gets a hold of her, and then dies a brutal death at the very very end, i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s funny that it happened twice

Never seen shahrukh as a villain although his early movies all feature him as one he didn’t come off as one to me here either even though its the same obsessed lover trope that’s in all the kpop ship fanfics but for a 1993 bollywood movie its peak cinema because of the musical aspect in every bolly movie. He was just an elevated version of sunil from kabhi haan kabhi naa to me because at the end he didn’t get the girl which you don’t see alot in shahrukh’s movies featuring him as the love interest overall i loved the movie and he was still very puppiful and only wanted to spread love and kindness he’s just a little crazy
