I would die for the Rhedosaurus. He is just so cute.
I don't know where I got the impression that this was boring, and I feel kind of silly for putting it off for so long. It certainly has slower moments, but it's pretty consistantly engaging throughout.
The only scene that left me disappointed was the finale; the wooden rollercoaster was absolutely inspired as a set-piece and yet, even as it burned to the ground, there was a severe lack of tension. Like, climbing down from a fifty foot rollercoaster engulfed in flames, AFTER shooting an isotope into a giant dinosaur should NOT feel as mundane as it does here.
