Bizarre crime drama that felt more like a dark comedy. Dafoe AND Cage in the same picture, so maybe my expectations were too high. Including a notable performance from Dafoe, there’s some great stuff here, like psychedelic transitions and creative violent gore. Overall, it’s a bit of a mess, but a mess I kinda liked.
