The horror film that's been on your watchlist the longest

if my friend was getting married to a random man and he was wilding out like that I would simply leave

the main plot of the film, if taken at face value isn't all too bad considered. in fact, i found this to be extremely entertaining. watching this polish flick, even without trying to delve deep into its interpretation is a solid watch. 

however, seeing as to how demon (2015) is actually an allegory to poland's jewish community blew my mind. check out this reddit post (click here) that puts it all together

This is a horror movie set during a wedding in Poland. It had a strong start and some fascinating themes on generational trauma (very fitting for Poland). But it falls apart towards the end and most of the actors, except for the lead, can’t quite deliver on what they are trying to do. The ending is a bit confusing and isn’t quite as powerful or effective as it wants to be.
