Really loved the visuals, except I did have to close all of the curtains in my living room because I did not want my neighbours to judge me based on what was on my television screen.

fever dream doesn’t even begin to describe it. i love movies that feel like stage plays and this is one of them !!! everyone delivers their lines in such a bizarre way you almost feel hypnotized. i am endlessly enamored with the way dr. caligari speaks in particular especially the way she says van houten. obsessed. she’s so sexy i would let her conduct human experiments on me any time
