so cute! i really loved gwyneth paltrow as emma and juliet stevenson as mrs. elton. ewan mcgregor's frank was way too unlikeable imho and i was not a huge fan of toni colette's harriet- maybe it's just bc i'm used to her in really different roles? jeremy northan was really good although the confession at the end was slightly underwhelming for me. there were also some weird camera movements/ cinematography choices. still, i feel like it managed to give attention to every plotline, the pacing was perfect, and it really captured the wittiness of the book.
