For an MTV original movie, this was good and everyone else is just fucking mean; and AFI’s Miss Murder being the end song was the absolute cherry on top.

First off, shout out to Chris for helping me find this.
This is sooo underrated! The horror community needs to wake this film up!
I love the teen-centric vibe and I think it was actually compelling and entertaining. Madison is so mean but she's also kinda cunt. And Briggs is a really good final boy.
Though I wish there was a bit more horror/action in the middle section, I'm still content with what we got.
The soundtrack is a bop and feels very 2000s.
The acting isn't great but it's also not too bad.
I need to get the DVD sooo bad because, on the site I watched this on, the visuals and audio wasn't synced which was distracting and made for a rather jarring experience, and I think that's the only thing that keeps it from hitting 5 stars.
Overall, this is a great slasher flick with a fun vibe.
