I'M SO ASHAMED!" i maybe a little bit felt that. not the situation they were in even a bit but just the deep pain that comes along with any sort of human emotion. what an absolute prick. judd steiner and norman bates would be best friends and have the strangest most awkward intimacy with each other. did not expect a KKK cameo in this

i started this one last night but didn’t finish it because i had to go to sleep. i thought it was really good though so i was excited to continue it the next day. sometime in the middle of the night our dog gave birth to four little dead puppies and it was really sad. after that i couldn’t sleep anymore so i decided to continue the movie. then my stomach started hurting because i was hungry as hell so i checked the fridge and there was absolutely nothing to eat except a box of dunkin’ bavarian munchkins. i do not like those at all because the filling looks like mucus. unfortunately i wanted to finish the movie more than i hated the munchkins so i ate them anyway. then i got back into bed, put the movie on, fully intending to finish it this time, and fell asleep again after about ten minutes

i finally finished it this morning while eating breakfast though and wow. it’s literally perfect. that’s really all i can say. the characters are awful and fascinating and the whole thing was exactly my kind of movie.

i read some reviews here and found out it was based on the leopold and loeb case which is also the same real life crime that inspired rope. i absolutely loved that one too. if there’s a movie about arrogant freaks committing crimes and executing it quite awfully, there is apparently a very high chance i will enjoy it

also juror #4 and juror #6 from 12 angry men are here ! and one of the lead actors is the same guy who lip synced to in dreams in blue velvet. i knew he looked familiar the second i saw him but i couldn’t figure out why

anyway. great film. it’s one of my favorites now. i still hate those bavarian munchkins
