Everyone’s a Critic Challenge Week 37: Set in Your Location or Region
coming from alabama, it’s honestly surprising that there are films that take place here that aren’t the stereotypical “country bumpkin” and having a crime/neo-noir vibe instead?? get outta here!!! this did have some elements that were intriguing (the bar sequences lowkey slapped) and had sequence that were more violent than I’d expect from a film made in the mid 1950s, but overall i was kinda bored throughout :/
