Another useless cashgrab sequel that makes virtually no sense. Maybe it’s the nostalgia factor kicking in, but the original I Know What You Did Last Summer had a cohesive Southern coastal vibe to it. I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, on the other hand, has the energy of a mediocre TV show’s vacation episode, at the point where the lack of ideas becomes evident.

Maybe there’s a time and place for a film like this. I don’t know which though.

Boring as hell if I’m being honest and idk why exactly. The vibes were completely off, the isolated island idea was super bad imo. It took way too long for something interesting to actually happen and get the movie going. The reveal was actually really good but the rest of the story is so stretched and weird. Again I love Ray so much, but cmon let’s be realistic. And yeah if you’re not American you probably guessed that something was off from the start bc you know the true capital of Brazil.
