Rich and Strange is part of the list of films Hitchcock made before he had found his footing as the master of the Macguffin, and therefore just lacks a lot of the substance that I look for in his films. This is definitely one you can skip, but if you want to see them all this one is definitely not the worst of his films.

This movie is pretty dumb but a few fun moments at least in between unintentionally absurd moments

fred has gotta be the most unlikeable Hitchcock leading man 

this was in no means great all around but the last segment brought it WAY down than it already was. maybe like a lower end 3 star movie but the end is just awful. animal cruelty is never funny
