This is what exorcist believer should have been. Solid all around. The middle lags a bit but the characters are interesting and the biblical references made this stand out.

Another case where the acting saved the movie. I'm not sure what went wrong but the plot definitely was too damn draggy. It was kinda try-hard in a way. Sure, the horror aspect was quite scary and the build-up was pretty solid. But something was missing, honestly. It was engaging at some points but in general, it fell flat.
