I love Martyrs, and obviously, I don't mean the remake, I mean the original. I had no intention of watching the remake for a long time, but then I became curious about just how bad it really is. I was also in the mood for a hate-watch. 

If you try not to see the film as a remake and treat it as a normal horror movie, it's just plain bad (I know, that requires a lot of mental effort). 

However, if you judge it as a remake, it’s outrageously bad. In fact, I'd say this is one of the worst remakes I've ever seen.
