I think it’s pretty creative like Miike does a lot of things right here and it really reminds me of power rangers with it’s crazy costumes and fights and stuff. But overall this movie is kinda ruined with its boring and long sections of talking and it’s not like fun conversations or anything it’s just boring dialogue that means almost nothing and makes the movie fucking 2 hours long. I don’t hate it just like this could've been so much better, i’m dissapointed. ;(

Miike never fails to amaze me with his filmography… Zebraman was yet again another creative, weird and absolutely incredible film by Miike that is full of funny characters, heartfelt moments, a surprisingly beautiful story and themes of nostalgia. this is how you make a superhero movie! genuinely so good, absolutely loved this movie. Miike somehow can just make anything and it will be awesome, this film similarly to Yatterman feels like a kids movie, but then it really isn’t at the same time so it is just so strange and something only Miike would make. so so much fun, highly recommended!also… just remembered Sadako is in this movie?? so so awesome
