50th Miike Movie! 

The fuck did I just watch? I know I know I’m this deep into Miikes filmography so I should know what i’m getting into but this is one of the weirdest most batshit insane movies he’s ever made 😭😭😭 

This is absolutely ridiculous and wasn’t what I was expecting at all. Idk why I just kinda figured this was an average film from Miike but jesus this shit was so so so so so so so so so weird. I’m all for it but I just wish I liked the story and characters more. Riki is one of the most meh main characters I’ve ever seen but Even with all my issues, this is still such an insane movie and I can’t help but like it for that reason. 

Check this out if you wanna see Miike’s older stuff or if you wanna watch one of the weirdest japanese movies you’ve ever seen. Cool shit I just wish I liked the story more 👍

holy shit this was awesome! definitely my 3rd favourite Miike film now! Riki Fudoh is for sure one of the coolest characters ever. this film packs in so much violence, fights and characters into it’s relatively short runtime, never wasting a minute. some of the goriest kills in a Miike film too and absolutely one of his most insane. so glad this got a 4K release, it was stunning to see & i hope more Miike films get a 4K in the future! highly, highly recommended, one of the best Yakuza movies and has a really cool plotline.
