Beautiful and devastating, slow-paced but not slow in the way of being boring. (Perhaps the kind of film that'll ruin your day?? Why on earth did I choose to watch this so early in the morning 😭) Our two leads being deeply unstable people- it's kind of nice, in a sense, to see people on screen who are just as fucked in the head as I am, but godddd is it a rough watch !!!!
Sibel is so !!!!!!!! She's exactly the kind of character I always end up gettin' attached to (suicidal, passionate, breaks a bottle to slit her wrists in front of a crowd of people to show her pain!!!!!) And then there's Cahit (violent alcoholic who outright refuses to talk about himself or his life, always leaving immediately in any unfavorable situation) I love them <3
Soundtrack's sensational!!! Like, Depeche Mode's I Feel You is one of the first songs that play in this, and immediately I knew this would be something I'd enjoy. All of the music in this is positively enchanting 💓
