Took a day to think this over and contextually this movie is pretty awesome with using blacklisted actors as a way to also talk about the red scare and social ostracizing, but you have to admit being a child murderer is pretty bad. the point is i guess its more so about the mob justice and people willing to surveil eachother and turn against eachother to enact what they think/believe to be right at any costs. Heard the original is better but i dont know that
