Feels a lot looser than what I’ve come to expect from Nichols. But it works in order to paint a portrait of a man who uses women to avoid doing any basic self introspection.

For as much as I love Jack and I think he was amazing in this film, Ann-Margret was easily my favorite performance here. Her pain in her scenes as well as her facial expressions were so good. The bedroom fight scene made this movie fully worth it. Really like this one and always like seeing early stages of Jack. 83/100

why are we letting men with receding hairlines have rights

I liked this movie I thought the plot was cool and I enjoyed the flash forwards because when it first happened I was confused but then we were at a new stage in the guys lives and I thought that was interesting because we get to really see how they evolved. I also really enjoyed the colors in this movie although they were bright most of the time it really made the times when it was more dark and shadowy really pop. At some points throughout this film I was a bit bored but I liked overall how it explored both Johnathan and Sandy’s sexual experiences and how they both ended up being very different than how they were in college.
