impulsively decided i want to actually watch the james bond movies and thought i’d be kind to myself and start with the era i’m most familiar with despite never having watched any. sorry to any chronological order only truthers ,, but i’m glad i did because i actually really did enjoy my time with this movie and it worked a treat because now i’m so so excited to finally delve into this world!!

Although 6 years upon my first viewing I still do not understand the poker scene.
Casino Royale was in my top 4 for so long, alongside Skyfall.

I fell in love. The score, the action, the spy story, the characters, the location (Italy of course).

Fun fact: A few months back I decided to take a boat ride on Lake Como. As i was looking around I saw that the “Villa La Gaeta” (Bond’s villa) is located right next to “Villa del Balbianello” (Padme Amidala’s home on Naboo)
