Kabali
❝Tell them that I have come back. Kabali has returned exactly the way he left 25 years ago.❞

I know Kabali wasn't well-received in India, but I really, really like it. It still encompasses the same style and charm Rajinikanth is known for, but it's paired with action that's not over-the-top. It makes things way more believable and likeable, in my opinion. There's multiple plots that are all well-written and intersect in one way or another by the end of the film, and everything's supplemented by the excellent performances by almost everyone in the cast. I love the music, too; Santhosh Narayanan really did his thing here because every single song and BGM goes so hard for no reason. If you're looking to watch more films from other countries, I'd highly recommend giving this film a go, because it's awesome, and at the very least you'll get to see loads of great action sequences.
