this documentary leaves you no questions about how the people even fell for the people's temple. you were offered equality, food, medical attention, community all in one and it was indeed too good to be true.
I do think the documentary should have focused on the aftermath too, and perhaps it could have taken a more stylistic narration, but it was solid nonetheless.
