Kareem is one of the best players in NBA history. There is no denying that. Though there is so much more to the man than just basketball. Kareem lived one of the most interesting lives and it is a shame that his documentary doesn’t get the treatment that someone like OJ or Michael Jordan got. The bar is so high for great sport documentaries and this one floats by doing nothing controversial or exceptional. What makes this interesting is hearing Kareem himself talk about his life, and I wish it was more of Kareem discussing portions of his life in depth than segmented chapters. Its passable but expect nothing exceptional.
